PANews reported on December 11 that the Ethereum Foundation announced on the X platform that BPO-1 has recently been activated, increasing the blob capacity per block to 15. This adds available space to the L2 network on Ethereum without requiring a hard fork. BPO-2, launching in January, will further expand the capacity.
