PANews reported on August 21st that, according to The Block, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming plans to submit a cryptocurrency market structure bill to the president for his signature before the end of the year, preferring to base it on the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act passed by the House of Representatives. Lummis stated that she would try to retain the House's amendments to stablecoins and market structure to respect its bipartisan support. The Senate version is still subject to adjustments, with the goal of completing the legislative process before Thanksgiving.
