The annual rate of core PCE in April was 2.5%, the lowest in more than four years

The U.S. core PCE price index in April was 0.1% month-on-month, expected to be 0.10%, and the previous value was revised from 0.00% to 0.1%. Traders are still betting that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in September.
