PANews reported on May 30 that the U.S. core PCE price index in April was 2.5% year-on-year, the lowest since March 2021, and the market expected 2.5%. The U.S. core PCE price index in April was 0.1% month-on-month, expected to be 0.10%, and the previous value was revised from 0.00% to 0.1%. Traders are still betting that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in September.
