OpenAI, Meta, and Uber CEOs to attend Trump inauguration

PANews reported on January 13 that according to Bloomberg, several technology industry executives plan to attend Donald Trump's presidential inauguration this month, indicating that the technology industry is seeking to strengthen its relationship with the new administration. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi have all confirmed their attendance at related events. Coinbase Global Inc. said that CEO Brian Armstrong has been invited to attend inauguration-related events, including the presidential dinner. In addition to Altman, OpenAI President Greg Brockman and Chief Product Officer Kevin Weil also plan to attend the inauguration.

In addition, Meta and Amazon have donated $1 million each to the Trump Inauguration Fund and have moved to more friendly platform rules by weakening content review and other policy adjustments. Altman personally donated $1 million to the Trump Inauguration Fund and said that it is crucial to work with the new administration during this critical period in the development of artificial general intelligence (AGI).
