PANews 11月26日消息，匿名币项目Grin宣布将推出新一代的工作量证明算法Cuckaroom，旨在进一步推进GPU挖矿转换为ASIC挖矿设备进程，在二级算法中，存在保证奖励因此GPU矿机无需和ASIC矿机竞争。Grin计划于12月19日左右在测试网Floonet上激活该算法。
此前，Grin公布了其3.0版本的计划草案，预计在区块高度524160进行第二次硬分叉升级，大约于2020年1月15日左右。
