PANews reported on December 19 that the General Office of the State Council recently issued the "Opinions on Combating Tobacco-Related Illegal Activities Across the Entire Chain," which pointed out that: risk management and control of tobacco-related activities should be strengthened on inbound and outbound means of transport and international postal parcels; analysis and judgment should be strengthened on illegal activities such as overseas-registered websites and the use of virtual currencies to trade tobacco products; and precise crackdowns should be launched against tobacco smuggling using new technologies and channels.
