据Gate.io官方公告，GT之前总量10亿枚，已经销毁9985.4189万枚，本次销毁6.6亿枚，GT总量将降低到2.401458亿枚，其中0.5亿枚研发，市场，生态资金永不流向市场，3000万枚GT安全法制基金锁定在公开地址。实际市场流通量为 1.601458亿枚。
GT升级为平台币，并发行新的主网币GC，创世块部分将为GT用户按一定比例分发GC，分发和锁定详情在GateChain主网上线时发布。
