PANews reported on January 8 that Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) revealed in a tweet that the Government Management Company of Bhutan (GMC) has established a strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies, covering Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Binance Coin (BNB). He pointed out that this is the first national strategic reserve that includes multiple cryptocurrencies, and this move shows Bhutan's open attitude towards diversified crypto assets.

CZ said that this opens the door for other countries to include cryptocurrencies in their national strategic reserves, especially multiple crypto assets including BNB. He predicted that Bhutan’s precedent would not be the last, and would lead more countries to explore similar strategies.
