Salesforce announces $15 billion investment in San Francisco to support AI innovation

PANews reported on October 13th that cloud software provider Salesforce (CRM.N) announced on Monday that it will invest $15 billion over the next five years in San Francisco to support artificial intelligence innovation and local workforce development. The investment will be used to establish a new AI incubation center on its San Francisco campus and help businesses adopt AI agents, which can perform tasks on behalf of users. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said in a statement, "This $15 billion investment demonstrates our deep commitment to our hometown—to driving AI innovation, creating jobs, and helping businesses and communities thrive."
