Nobel Prize winners and dozens of other economists issued a declaration opposing US tariff policies

PANews reported on April 20 that CCTV cited a report from the US Business Insider website that dozens of economists, including two Nobel Prize winners, signed an "anti-tariff declaration" criticizing US President Trump's tariff policy, calling it "misguided" and warning that it could lead to a "self-inflicted recession." In this "anti-tariff declaration," the author warned that it is urgent to cancel the Trump administration's "incoherent and destructive policies" on trade. As of the evening of April 19, Eastern Time, 956 people had signed this "anti-tariff declaration."
