PANews reported on January 11 that, according to Russian media, Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin, has registered the trademark for its asset tokenization platform Hadron in Russia. The company filed the application in October 2025, and the Russian Federal Intellectual Property Office (Rospatent) approved the registration in January 2026. The company has been granted exclusive rights to the trademark, valid until October 3, 2035. The trademark can be used for blockchain financial services, cryptocurrency trading and exchange, crypto payment processing, and related consulting services.
Tether is a registered trademark in Russia, valid until 2035.
