PANews reported on May 27 that according to CoinDesk, digital asset securities platform Prometheum announced the acquisition of SEC and FINRA registered broker ProFinancial, and established an SEC registered digital transfer agent to build a full-process compliance tokenization platform covering issuance, trading, and custody. Co-CEO Aaron Kaplan said that the goal is to realize the on-chain of real assets under the US regulatory framework and seize the trillion-dollar asset tokenization market. At present, competition in this field is intensifying, and institutions such as Securitize, Superstate, and Tokeny are also actively deploying. Kaplan said that Prometheum has a unique competitive advantage by building a trading and custody infrastructure first and then the market.
