PANews reported on June 4 that according to Bloomberg, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said that the company will continue to focus its development outside the United States, despite the current Trump administration's crypto-friendly stance. Tether prefers to expand its market in Latin America, Asia, and Africa, and is considering issuing new stablecoins in the United States, but still emphasizes that its core mission is to serve emerging markets with weak financial infrastructure. Currently, Tether does not directly serve U.S. customers, but users of the U.S. platform can still use USDT. If USDT is issued in the United States, it will face stricter supervision and comprehensive audits.
Tether focuses on non-US markets, and its core mission remains to serve emerging countries
