PANews reported on April 2 that according to the official announcement, the on-chain destruction of Websea platform currency (WBS) in April 2025 has been completed. This time, 1,397,177.42 WBS were transferred to the destruction address.

The number of WBS destroyed this time increased by more than 50,000 compared with the number destroyed in March. As of press time, the price of WBS was US$0.62, up 10% year-on-year in March, and the destruction value exceeded US$860,000.

Up to now, a total of 56,084,077.8 WBS have been destroyed. It is reported that Websea will use 10% of the platform fee to repurchase and destroy WBS every month, gradually reducing the supply of WBS until the total amount drops from 300 million to 100 million.
