PANews reported on October 23 that Ethereum Layer 2 network Starknet said on the X platform that the first phase of STRK staking is about to be completed. The work completed in this phase includes: STRK staking contract, community governance on STRK staking parameters, and the first phase of the test network. The work being done at this stage is the first phase of the main network, which is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024. It will take time for Starknet to move towards a fully decentralized PoS network.
