PANews reported on March 20 that Starknet announced that the official vote for STRK Staking V2 will start at 0:00 am on March 21. This upgrade aims to expand validators from running full nodes and monitoring the network to sending block proofs to assess their activity, laying the foundation for the consensus role planned for the end of 2025. At the same time, the proposal also introduces a transparent commission adjustment function to optimize economic incentives.

The upgrade will be launched on the testnet in the coming weeks and is scheduled to be launched on the mainnet in the second quarter of 2025.

According to previous news, Starknet: The second phase of STRK staking will be launched as early as Q2 2025 .
