PANews reported on October 17 that according to monitoring by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, two whale/institutional addresses transferred 17.857 million ASTER (US$22.88 million) to the exchange today.

• A whale/institution that accumulated 64.535 million ASTER tokens through Gate and has been transferring them to Binance daily recently transferred another 9.575 million ASTER tokens (worth $12.53 million) to Binance today. Their ASTER holdings are almost gone: 58.608 million tokens (worth $92.25 million) were transferred to Binance over the past week, leaving only 5.926 million (worth $7.42 million) remaining, and they are expected to clear their holdings by tomorrow morning.
• A whale/institution that previously participated in the WLFI public offering (purchasing 200 million WLFI with 10 million USDT) withdrew 8.282 million ASTER tokens ($16.86 million) from Bybit three weeks ago at $2.03. Eight hours ago, these 8.282 million ASTER tokens were transferred to Bybit. However, the current ASTER price has fallen back to $1.25, resulting in a $6.52 million loss in ASTER value.
