PANews reported on November 13th that, according to CCTV News cited by Jinshi, it was learned on November 12th local time that, as US President Trump is about to sign the temporary federal government funding bill passed by both houses of Congress to end the government shutdown, several administration officials revealed that multiple federal departments have notified employees to return to work tomorrow (November 13th), including the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of the Interior, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Department of Justice. However, it is currently uncertain when employees forced to take unpaid leave will receive their back pay, and whether salary payments can be quickly restored.
The US government is set to "open its doors," with multiple departments requiring employees to return to work tomorrow.
