PANews reported on February 7 that according to the New York Post, potential candidates for the Trump administration’s digital asset market working group have been revealed. These industry executives include former Kraken general counsel Marco Santori, Ripple co-founder Brad Garlinghouse, podcast “The Scoop” host Frank Chaparro, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek.
The list is not exhaustive, and potential candidates for the advisory board are understood to be selected based on industry experience. President Trump’s recent executive order establishing the Digital Asset Markets Task Force has been widely welcomed by the crypto industry as a major shift in the U.S. government’s stance on digital currencies.
