PANews reported on December 20th that, according to official data, in the seven days ending December 18th, Circle issued approximately 4.7 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 6 billion USDC, resulting in a decrease of approximately 1.3 billion USDC in circulation. The total circulating supply of USDC is 77.2 billion, with reserves of approximately $77.5 billion, including approximately $53.3 billion from overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $14.3 billion from Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $9.2 billion from systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $700 million from other bank deposits.
