Trump campaign manager Chris LaCivita joins Coinbase global advisory board

PANews reported on January 30 that Chris LaCivita, co-manager of US President Trump's 2024 campaign, will join the global advisory board of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase to assist in digital asset regulation. LaCivita will serve as an advisor together with former US Senator Kyrsten Sinema, former New York Fed President Bill Dudley, and former Colombian Ambassador to the United States Luis Alberto Moreno.

It is reported that LaCivita helped Trump get elected and has close ties with the Republican National Committee. He criticized the Biden administration's cryptocurrency regulatory policy and expressed support for Trump's proposal to make the United States a leader in digital assets. Coinbase established the advisory committee in May 2023 to cope with the increasingly complex global cryptocurrency environment. Its members include several former U.S. congressmen, such as former Senator Pat Toomey.
