谷燕西在采访中表示，目前来看，无论是USDT或是USDC、GUSD、PAX等合规的美元稳定币，都是被市场所需要的，因为需求量大，所以，它们被扩展到其它领域当中。不同的是，USDC、GUSD、PAX等，以及即将发布的Diem稳定币均是合规的稳定币。但USDT并不是，美国政府一定会对USDT采取措施，只是时间的问题。
