PANews reported on August 12 that the U.S. core CPI annual rate rose further to 3.1% in July, a five-month high and higher than the market expectation of 3.0%. The U.S. core CPI annual rate remained unchanged at 2.7% in July, compared with the previous month, while the market expected it to rise further to 2.8%.
