PANews reported on December 26th that, according to an official announcement from Trust Wallet, the security incident involving browser extension version 2.68 affected approximately $7 million in user assets. The team has promised full compensation, and the refund process will be announced soon. The official announcement also advised affected users not to activate older versions of the extension and released a guide on upgrading to version 2.69, emphasizing that users should not click on information from unofficial channels.
