PANews reported on April 17 that according to the Financial Times, Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun visited Beijing today and met with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng and founder of generative AI startup DeepSeek Liang Wenfeng to discuss customizing a new generation of chips for the Chinese market. Huang Renxun emphasized that China is a "very important market" for Nvidia and hopes to continue cooperation.
