Aperture Finance attackers deposited approximately $2.4 million worth of ETH into Tornado Cash.

PANews reported on February 5th that, according to PeckShield monitoring, attackers at Aperture Finance have deposited 1242.7 ETH (approximately $2.4 million) into the privacy protocol Tornado Cash. Aperture Finance was attacked on January 25th, 2026 (Beijing time), with its V3/V4 contracts being exploited, resulting in a loss of approximately $3.67 million.

Previously, it was reported that Aperture Finance's V3/V4 contracts were compromised by a vulnerability, and the core functionality of the front-end has been suspended .
