PANews reported on September 5th that, according to Cointelegraph, Kazakhstan's financial regulator, AFSA, has launched a program within the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) that allows members to pay license and regulatory fees in dollar-pegged stablecoins (such as USDT and USDC). Bybit became the first crypto exchange to participate in the program, with a multilateral memorandum of understanding signed at Astana Finance Days 2025. Participating institutions must meet AFSA's entry criteria and sign the memorandum.
