November 6, 2025 | The "Anchoring the Future: RWA Reshaping Global Asset Liquidity" forum, part of the Hong Kong Fintech Week series of events, was successfully held in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. This event was hosted by Plume, co-organized by ITQM and CoinNet, and co-sponsored by Web3Labs, ME Group, and Techub News, with strong support from Hong Kong Cyberport and the Hong Kong Digital Asset Listed Companies Association. The event brought together leading institutions in the Web3 field, representatives of Hong Kong listed companies, and industry experts to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as RWA, Web3 ecosystem resilience, and compliance innovation in Hong Kong, exploring pathways for the integration of traditional assets and decentralized networks.
Forum Opens: Ecosystem Dialogue Connecting Traditional and Web3
On the day of the event, Web3Labs CEO Mr. Huang Junlang delivered the opening remarks. He stated that Hong Kong, as a global financial hub and a testing ground for Web3 innovation, is promoting RWA as a core link connecting traditional assets and the decentralized economy through compliance frameworks and infrastructure construction. Subsequently, Plume CSO Shukyee delivered a keynote speech, explaining the underlying logic of RWA in the "asset digitization - value tokenization - global liquidity reconstruction" chain, and introducing Plume's practical achievements in the field of on-chaining physical assets such as real estate and art.

Roundtable Discussion: Deconstructing Web3 Resilience and Identifying New Opportunities for Hong Kong's RWA
The roundtable discussion at this forum featured guests from institutions such as Plume, QuantumCTek, and FOMO Group, who engaged in multi-dimensional discussions on the resilience of the Web3 ecosystem, the value communication of Web3 by traditional institutions, core elements of business operations, and opportunities in the Hong Kong ecosystem. Web3 industry guests pointed out that the rise of RWA during this bull-bear cycle is mitigating the impact of fluctuations in traditional crypto cycles—the on-chaining of physical assets not only injects a "value anchor" into Web3 but also transforms DeFi platforms from "pure crypto asset circulation" to "cross-domain asset allocation tools."
Representatives from traditional institutions shared their insights for traditional institutional clients, explaining that their Web3 business breaks down into two layers of value: "asset digitization tools" and "global liquidity networks." The former helps clients achieve fragmented asset issuance and cross-market access, while the latter improves asset turnover efficiency through DeFi protocols. Institutions consider using a "traditional asset management + Web3 tools" model to help clients intuitively understand the business's risk-return structure. Regarding crypto asset allocation, the team approaches it from the perspective of "alternative asset diversification," combining it with Hong Kong's compliant custody framework to explain its risk hedging value in traditional LPs' portfolios.
Regarding the short-term opportunities for Hong Kong RWA and Web3, the guests unanimously focused on "vertical asset tokenization" and "infrastructure implementation," with the tokenization of commercial real estate and art, and the on-chain financing of cross-border trade assets likely to see practical implementation.

Web3Labs x Plume Bridge Program Finalists Announced
In July 2025, Web3Labs and Plume entered into a strategic partnership to jointly build the first bridge program focused on institutional-grade real-world asset tokenization, opening up a compliant interaction channel between traditional finance and the blockchain ecosystem. After a two-month application and selection process, Asseto, RealtyX, PlayEstes, Zona, ArtWise, FireX, and Tortuga were successfully selected for this global RWA Bridge Program. Selected projects will receive industry ecosystem resource support from both parties and enter the formal incubation and acceleration phase.

This forum not only showcased Hong Kong's compliance innovation and ecosystem vitality in the RWA field, but also provided a "Hong Kong model" for the restructuring of global asset liquidity through dialogue between traditional institutions and Web3 practitioners. As one guest stated in their summary: the core value of RWA is to achieve a two-way empowerment between "decentralized efficiency" and "the value of traditional assets"—and Hong Kong is becoming a key testing ground for this trend. In the future, Web3Labs will collaborate with Plume and various Hong Kong institutions to explore the diversity and challenges of RWA implementation.
