PANews reported on December 11th that Binance will support the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and hard fork, according to an official announcement. To prepare for the upgrade and hard fork, Binance will perform maintenance on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) wallet at 14:00 (UTC+8) on December 16th, 2025. To support this maintenance, Binance will suspend deposit and withdrawal services for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) at 13:55 (UTC+8) on December 16th, 2025. The maintenance is expected to take one hour, and deposit and withdrawal services will automatically resume after maintenance is complete.

BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will undergo a network upgrade and hard fork on January 14, 2026 at 10:30 AM (UTC+8). Binance expects to suspend token deposits and withdrawals for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) on January 14, 2026 at 10:25 AM (UTC+8).
