PANews reported on December 8th that, according to Forbes, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins stated in a live interview with Fox News that he expects the entire U.S. financial market to shift towards blockchain technology, which underpins Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, within the next two years. Atkins stated, "The world will do this, perhaps in less than 10 years, maybe as little as two years. The next step will come with digital assets, market digitization, and tokenization, which will bring huge benefits to transparency and risk management."
