Circle Lianchuang: US dollar stablecoin issuers should register and operate in the United States

PANews reported on February 26 that according to Coindesk, Jeremy Allaire, co-founder of stablecoin issuer Circle, said that issuers of digital tokens pegged to the US dollar should register and operate in the United States. It is reported that in February this year, Republican Senator Bill Hagerty proposed a bill to establish a regulatory system for US-backed stablecoins. Jeremy Allaire explained: "Operating a US dollar stablecoin should not be a free pass. Whether it is an offshore company or headquartered elsewhere, if you want to provide a US dollar stablecoin in the United States, you need to register in the United States, just like we have to register elsewhere."
