PANews reported on December 31 that Elon Musk tweeted that the best way to ensure the accuracy of the Community Notes system is for the system to be completely decentralized and open source, including code and data, and any manipulation will be "as obvious as a neon sign." Musk added that the 𝕏 platform staff, including himself, have no editorial control over the system. The system works in a way that people with historically different views need to reach a consensus in order for the notes to be displayed on the platform.
