U.S. stocks open higher, gold stocks fall

PANews reported on May 27 that the US stock market opened, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.84%, the S&P 500 up 1.1%, and the Nasdaq up 1.52%. Pinduoduo (PDD.O) fell 18%, with first-quarter results falling short of expectations. Gold stocks followed the international gold price down, with Jintian falling 5.4%. Trump Media Technology Group (DJT.O) rose 3.69%, and the company plans to use $2.5 billion in raised funds to build a Bitcoin reserve. Tesla (TSLA.O) rose 3.1%, after Musk said he had returned to full-time work.
