German bank DekaBank expands its crypto partnership with Börse Stuttgart to retail users

PANews reported on October 14 that according to Ledger Insights, German bank DekaBank has reached a cooperation with Börse Stuttgart Digital, the digital business unit of the Stuttgart Stock Exchange, to open cryptocurrency trading services for its institutional clients. Now, the two parties are expanding the scope of cooperation to develop solutions for retail customers of German savings banks (Sparkassen) served by DekaBank, and the solution is expected to be launched next year. This comprehensive service will cover trading, custody and front-end interfaces. This cooperation is of great significance to the digital business unit of the Stuttgart Stock Exchange, as it already provides retail services to community banks through its cooperation with DZ Bank. With this latest cooperation with DekaBank, the agency has fully covered the two major areas of community banks and savings banks, and these two types of banking groups each have approximately 700 banks.
