PANews reported on May 5 that Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino posted on his X platform account, announcing that a new project called Tether.ai will be launched soon.

According to Ardoino's description, Tether.ai's core product "Personal Infinite Intelligence" will be a completely open source AI Runtime. Its design goal is to be able to adapt and run on any hardware and device, without the need for API keys, eliminating centralized failure points, and being fully modular and composable. It is worth noting that the AI Runtime will integrate WDK (presumably Tether's development kit) to support payments using stablecoins USDT and Bitcoin. Ardoino envisions that Tether AI technology aims to eventually build a peer-to-peer network consisting of billions of AI agents.
