PANews reported on June 2 that according to ZachXBT on-chain tracking and analysis, the 300 BTC received by Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht's donation address came from the output of the currency mixing service Jambler . The relevant funds may be related to two addresses (1Mp5hH and 1CNDW), which were associated with the exchange in 2014 and 2019 respectively and were marked in the compliance tool. Both recharged Jambler in large quantities between April and May 2025, which coincided with the donation. ZachXBT believes that this donation is "not Ross's own donation", but its source poses compliance risks.
The 300 BTC received by Ross’s donation address are suspected to come from a compliant risk control address but not from his own donation
