코인게이프에 따르면, 영국 투자은행 바클레이스의 전 최고경영자(CEO) 밥 다이아몬드(Bob Diamond)가 최근 파이낸셜타임스와의 인터뷰에서 "암호화폐는 금융시장에서 중요한 역할을 할 것"이라며 암호화폐의 미래를 낙관 전망했다. 이와 관련 그는 "지난해 암호화폐 약세장을 극복할 수 있는 좋은 일들이 올해 많이 발생할 것"이라고 덧붙였다. 한편 밥 다이아몬드는 사모펀드 아틀라스머천트캐피털을 설립, 최고경영자(CEO)를 역임하며 USDC 발행사 서클에 투자를 주도했다. 지난해 서클은 스팩 합병을 통한 증시 상장이 무산된 바 있다.
