크립토베이직에 따르면, 포춘 크립토(Fortune Crypto), 로이터, 디크립트 등에 기고문을 게재하는 유명 크립토 에디터 제프 로버트(Jeff Roberts)가 "리플(XRP)은 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)와 진행 중인 '미등록 증권 판매' 소송 결과와 상관없이 성공할 수 있다. 리플랩스, XRP, XRPL 등에 대한 장기적인 가치를 발견했다"고 말했다. 이와 관련 그는 "모니카 롱 리플 대표를 만나 인터뷰하기 전까진 XRP에 회의적 입장이었다. 하지만 모니카 롱과의 인터뷰 후 리플의 XRP 기반 국제 송금 서비스 ODL 제품은 틈새 시장을 찾아 공략에 성공했다고 생각이 바뀌었다. 따라서 SEC와의 소송 승패와 관계없이 리플과 XRP는 성공할 준비가 되어 있다"고 설명했다. 코인마켓캡 기준 XRP는 현재 3.63% 오른 0.4469 달러에 거래되고 있다.
