리플 임원 "SEC와의 소송, 타국 중앙은행과의 대화에 끼친 영향 거의 없어"

리플의 중앙은행 업무 담당 부사장 제임스 월리스(James Wallis)가 코인데스크와의 인터뷰를 통해 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)와의 소송이 중앙은행과의 대화에 끼친 영향은 거의 없다고 말했다. 그는 "2020년부터 진행된 법정 싸움은 리플의 중앙은행과의 대화 및 프로젝트에 부정적인 영향을 끼치지 않았다. 이것때문에 우리와 대화하고 싶지 않다고 말하는 나라는 없었다"고 강조했다. 이어 "법원의 판결은 리플 뿐만 아니라 업계 전체에게 승리를 가져왔다"고 덧붙였다. 최근 팔라우 정부가 리플 CBDC 플랫폼을 통해 XRP레저(XRP Ledger)에서 팔라우 공무원들을 대상으로 팔라우 스테이블코인 클룩(Kluk)을 발행할 예정이라고 발표한 바 있다.
