암호화폐 전문 미디어 코인데스크가 17일(현지시간) 미국 검찰이 샘 뱅크먼 프리드(SBF) FTX 창업자의 형사 재판에서 증거로 제출한 이메일 자료를 인용 "FTX가 붕괴되기 2개월 전 필립 데이비스(Philip Davis) 바하마 총리는 SBF에게 자신의 아들이 자문 중인 NFT 프로젝트 관련 조언을 구했었다"고 보도했다. 미디어는 "이는 FTX가 바하마 현지 정부와 얼마나 밀접한 관계를 유지했는지 보여주는 증거"라며 "바하마는 2년이 넘는 시간 동안 FTX가 라이선스 없이 운영될 수 있도록 방치했다"고 덧붙였다.
