암호화폐 전문 미디어 우블록체인에 따르면 해시레이트 인덱스(Hashrate Index)의 애널리스트 야란 멜루드(Jaran Mellerud)가 "대형 채굴업체들(Public Miners)의 해시레이트가 비트코인 해시레이트에서 차지하는 비중은 27%로, 2022년 1월 17%에서 10% 늘었다"고 전했다. 야란 멜루드는 "BTC 반감기 이후 자본력이 풍부한 대형 채굴업체들이 경영난에 처한 중소형 채굴업체(Private Miners)들의 자산을 매입, 대형 업체들의 BTC 해시레이트 점유율이 계속 증가할 것"이라고 설명했다.
