유가랩스 "행사 참석자 '광각막염' 발병 원인은 자외선 방출 조명"

유명 NFT 프로젝트 BAYC가 공식 X(구 트위터)를 통해 지난 주말 홍콩에서 열린 에이프페스트(ApeFest) 참석자들의 광각막염 피해 원인을 설명했다. BAYC는 "행사 내 설치물, 자재 등 다양한 조사를 실시한 결과 행사장 한쪽 구석에 설치됐던 UV-A(자외선) 방출 조명이 이번에 발생한 문제의 원인일 가능성이 높다. 참석자 중 증상이 있는 사람들은 누구나 치료를 받은 뒤 회사 측에 연락할 것을 권장한다"고 밝혔다. 앞서 에이프페스트에 참석한 뒤 광각막염 진단을 받았다는 참석자가 속출하면서 유가랩스 관계자는 원인을 파악하고 있다고 밝힌 바 있다.
