미국 댈러스 상공회의소 산하 미디어 댈러스 이노베이트(DallasInnovates)에 따르면 헤데라 해시그래프(HBAR)가 미국 텍사스주 댈러스 포트워스에서 '네트워크 내 분산 데이터베이스의 방법 및 장치(Methods and apparatus for a distributed database within a network)'라는 이름의 특허를 취득했다. 해당 특허는 2019년 6월 4일 신청됐다.
