연합뉴스에 따르면 올해 들어 현재까지 가상화폐 해킹 피해 규모가 17억 달러(약 2조2천억 원)에 달하는 것으로 파악됐다고 블룸버그가 보도했다. 지난해의 피해 규모 40억 달러(약 5조3천억원)에 비해 크게 감소했다. 올해 발생한 상위 10대 해킹 사건이 전체 도난 피해액의 70%를 차지했다.
