페이코인, 1월 약 425만 PCI 추가 유통

정부 규제로 국내에서 가상자산 결제 서비스를 중단한 페이코인(PCI) 팀이 공식 블로그를 통해 2024년 1월 유통량을 공시했다. 해당 공시에서 페이코인 팀은 1월 4,256,926 PCI(현재 시세 기준 약 40.5만 달러)가 추가 유통됐으며, 총 유통량은 981,437,193 PCI라고 밝혔다. 이와 관련 페이코인 측은 "추가 유통 물량은 사용처로는 신규 및 출석 이벤트, 기획 이벤트, 거래소 이벤트 등 마케팅 명목으로 지급됐다"고 설명했다.
