복수의 암호화폐 커뮤니티에 따르면, 업비트 앱 원화마켓 거래 수수료가 실제 0.05%에서 0.15%로 인상돼 적용된 사례가 있는 것으로 파악됐다. 일각에서는 해당 마켓에서 메이커(지정가 주문) 수수료는 이전과 동일하게 0.05%가 적용되고 있으며, 테이커(시장가 주문) 수수료가 0.15%로 인상됐다는 주장이 일고 있다. 한편 업비트에서 수수료 인상과 관련된 공지는 확인되지 않았다. 이에 커뮤니티에서는 "공지 없이 수수료를 기습 인상하는 잠수함 패치가 아니냐"는 여론이 형성되고 있다.
