크립토슬레이트에 따르면 케냐의 블록체인 협회가 나이지리아에 구금된 2명의 바이낸스 임원의 즉각적인 석방을 촉구했다. 협회는 바이낸스 임원의 구금이 국가 주도의 납치이자 명백한 국제법 위반이라고 주장했다. 앞서 미국 아호화폐 로비그룹인 디지털 상공회의소(Chamber of Digital Commerce)도 "바이낸스 직원 2명을 구금한 나이지리아의 조치는 부당하다"고 밝힌 바 있다.
