암호화폐 전문 미디어 비트코인매거진(BitcoinMagazine)에 따르면, 일본 도쿄증권거래소에 상장된 메타플래닛이 비트코인을 주요 자산으로 편입한다고 발표한 후 주가가 90% 이상 상승했다. 앞서 메타플래닛은 아시아판 마이크로스트래티지를 벤치마킹해 BTC를 자사 주요 자산으로 편입했다고 밝힌 바 있다.
