채굴업체 비트팜스, 채굴기 5000대 추가 설치...에너지 효율성 51% 향상

비트코인 채굴업체 비트팜스가 공식 채널을 통해 두 개의 채굴장에 5000대가 넘는 채굴기 업데이트가 있었다고 발표했다. 채굴장 갈록(Garlock)과 판햄(Farnham)에는 각각 3168대와 1710대의 비트메인 T21 채굴기 등이 설치됐으며, 이로 인해 두 채굴장에서 에너지 효율이 51% 가량 향상됐다. 비트팜스 측은 "이번 분기에 30,000대 이상의 채굴기를 추가로 배치할 예정이며, 2024년에는 21EH/s를 달성할 것으로 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
