DL뉴스에 따르면 유럽연합 이사회가 러시아에 대한 14차 제재 조치를 채택했으며, 이에 따라 암호화폐 기업들은 러시아 무기 공급과 군사적 지원을 하는 2200개 러시아 기업과의 거래가 금지됐다. 블록체인 정보 회사 TRM랩스의 수석 정책 고문인 이사벨라 체이스(Isabella Chase)는 "관련 실사가 추가로 필요하다. 어떤 기업이 러시아 군대 지원에 참여하고 있는지 더욱 확실하게 파악할 필요가 있다"고 설명했다.
